Description: Manila is the strongest of all natural fibre ropes and is obtained from the fibres of the Abacca Plant. It has higher abrasion and stretch resistance than sisal, a soft feel, is biodegradable and will not conduct electricity. Its strength when wet is reduced slightly but not to the same degree as Sisal. Applications: Mining, industrial and shipping applications.
